Here we have Kelsey + Mike: two beautiful people that I have the great pleasure of knowing for the past few years! We took an impromptu stroll through the American Visionary Art Museum in Baltimore Maryland. The museum itself is strange and amazing, dedicated in part to outsider art; work by artists who are not considered mainstream, but whose talent is obvious and whose work is inspirational and forward-thinking.
I absolutely loved this museum and encourage everyone to go and see it at some point. They have a small postsecret section, a set of incredibly fantastic works by mentally and physically disabled artists, and my favorite piece was a flawless to-scale replica of the Lusitania made entirely out of toothpicks. Kelsey and Mike are super cool, super weird, industrious, tandem-bike-riding, california-residing, wonderful people that I am so happy to know and so excited to photograph in July when they get hitched! On to the photos!
