DETAILS YOU GUYS. DETAILS! It was an outdoor summer wedding, with a solid group of friends and family present. The reception was in a barn. In the barn were dinner tables. Each dinner table had a different theme + color scheme, and its own little props to support the theme. Hand-painted wooden directional signs. Hand-woven guestbook. Hand-cut metal announcement signs in the shapes of cows. A 1960s Cadillac. Machetes for the groomsmen. You literally wish you could have been there.
Yet another reason to go DIY on the big day! It's a lot of work to make a wedding look and feel this good, but it really brought a sweet personal touch.
I was also really happy to shoot along with highly-sought after Northern VA wedding photographer Jessie Smith! Check out her stuff if you haven't yet!
Congratulations KC + Tim! This was an amazing day!
