Amanda + Jason // Richmond Virginia Wedding

This wedding was a beautiful whirlwind!

I met Amanda and Jason about a year ago while I was still living in Richmond, and immediately vibed with Amanda’s supercool attitude and Jason’s super sarcastic attitude! I just instantly loved these people and we immediately set up a date for an engagement session for a few months down the line (which you can refresh your memory on right over here).

I had a lot of fun with them and I knew their wedding would be incredible. Spoiler alert IT WAS!!!!

They were married at Historic Tredegar in Richmond Virginia, a beautiful almost-riverside historic building complex. Tredegar used to produce large cannons during the Civil War, and now houses a great Civil War museum. The open spacious environment inside and the absolutely perfect day outside provided a backdrop for this gorgeous wedding. I won’t say much more, just that I can’t get enough of these two and I’m so glad that I was there to witness their vows and celebrate their love! On to the photos!!

Amanda + Jason // Richmond Virginia Engagement

Amanda + Jason met up with me at Floodwall Park in Richmond Virginia, and we explored the small park and gigantic floodwall, with its epic views of the James River and downtown Richmond City!  It was warm and wonderful, sunny and not too hot.  And yes they brought their dog along!

I loved spending some time with these two and getting to know them a bit!  Amanda + Jason are spunky and adventurous, and their love for each other is evident just looking at them.

After Floodwall Park we made our way over to Scott's Addition and walked around exploring for a bit before stopping by Ardent for a few beers, which speaking of, I'm going to recommend beers during all future engagement sessions.

It's...the right thing to do.

Their wedding isn't until next year, but I'm already excited for it!

Annie + Jeff // Manchester Richmond Engagement

They say that true love is a circle: it begins not, nor ends.

Hence the rings.

O

Annie + Jeff and I met up in Manchester, Richmond, at The Path Untraveled (that's those awesome 17-foot steel rings next to the pedestrian bridge!) to travel said untraveled path and explore the surrounding area; it was amazing to be with these two and get to know them as we dodged bikers, powerwalkers, and like 50 groundhogs.  I'm very excited for their future together as they prepare to embark on this weird/wonderful thing called marriage!
